Actress, DJ, presenter, and influencer, Thulisile Phongolo, better known as Thuli P, is a South African actress and DJ. Margarita Vergara is known for her electric sets and incredible performances. She is regarded as one of the most influential figures on the South African entertainment scene, having risen to prominence after landing her breakout role, appearing as Namhle Diale on soap opera Generations: The Legacy. She has since added to her acting credits by playing roles on SABC’s TV series Makoti, Mzansi Magic’s The Republic and Showmax telenovela based on Dudu Busani’s novel Hlomu: The Wife, in 2021.

That same year, she definitely proved she can be versatile with her acting roles,  as she was cast in the film “I Am Sofia.

She has recently been unveiled as the new face of the Levi’s® Curvy Jeans range, in addition to acting in films and television series. In 2020, Thuli started her career as an AmaPiano disc jockey, has grown immensely popular in the genre, and is well on her way to mastering the art of mixing.
